Stuy_O
Can’t stand the term entitled mind. That’s basically saying you can’t have an opinion unless it’s universally positive. If a fan isn’t at all pleased we lost to Sunderland twice, he’s an entitled wanker, and it’s his fault the players aren’t performing. Criticism of the team is completely fair, and a level headed supporter can accept the mitigations of this season and still think what’s being produced isn’t good enough. By the club as a collective, including Eddie Howe, who isn’t bullet proof.

GlamourBoys88
No more excuses. That game was poor as it comes. I honestly can’t see how Howe can improve things unless there’s a massive clear out. Everyone besides Thiaw and Tonali were utter crap. Palace were there for the taking.
TRon
2 minutes ago, Kid Icarus said: Where did I set up that premise like? The entirety of the Eddie Howe out portion of our fanbase have come to the conclusion that he is the thing that needs to change. I think that's mental for reasons I've made time and again. His own players seem to have come to that conclusion as well tbh.

Yet we lacked any intensity - it felt like a pre-season game. We pressed them high up the pitch when we could. We won the ball in their third often enough. Osula was running channels, chasing down everything. Murphy didn't do much today, but the rest certainly tried.

Honestly the bar is so low with our fanbase if he tried a none 433 formation and tried to integrate Woltemade he could get the fans back behind him. Honestly you’re right. If he somehow lets go of 433 next game I’d be excited Season looks done anyway, might as well try things Eddie.

Wallsendmag
1 minute ago, dcmk said: We have been here before.. and he sorted it. Rather than calling for someone's head how about waiting until after the summer and actually getting behind the guy until then. 14th in the table after a £700m+ spend? Throwing away 25 points from winning positions. Losing 20 games (and counting) this season. You tell me when we've been here before please. I'll judge on what I'm watching, and what I've been watching most of the season has been utter rubbish. I'll give him the plaudits when he's doing a good job and I'll call him out when he isn't. That's perfectly fair.
Magic Rat
I think this group of players is finished. It's not just a new coach needed to motivate them and make them gel. Or a couple of signings. Hall, Bruno, Miley are good enough, Tonali can be brought back, the others can go. If Howe is prepared to make big changes of personnel in the summer, then give him another go. If he's not then find someone who is

Lush Vlad
I wasn’t Howe out before this. Still, not TBH. I was unhappy but willing to give him time. Have been since November/December time. But watching the same shite every week and not seeing any signs of improvement is getting hard to defend.

Kid Icarus
3 minutes ago, Andy said: To be fair KI, there isn't a single club in the league that wouldn't have sections of their fanbase questioning their manager after some of the performances and consistent repeated mistakes we've seen on the pitch this season, mitigating factors or not. I respect your capacity to push back against it, but it's not inherent to NUFC. I think there are tbh. There have been times when successful managers have been given a long rope with the supporter base. We've had sections questioning him specifically from the start of the season. I dont think we're the only ones like this at all, Villa are like this with Emery for example.
