We're 14th, we should be 8th in a completely average season just looking at wage spend.

If didn't have tons of extra games I would agree.

That's because we aren't winning.

Some here have become very entitled.

Why would they get the same scrutiny. They’ve spent well over £500m since coming in and backed Howe in the summer massively.

Howe has failed on the pitch.

I've posted specifically to you about this a few times and you never reply. At this point you're surely taking the piss, howeh.

They all play possession football that's why. We need to move away from our end to end type of play.

This. But we've not been buying the right type of players to do it.

Who on earth are people expecting to get in over Howe? And is it remotely realistic to get someone better?

We are 18th richest club in the world we can tak our pick.

This is all going the way it did for him at Bournemouth like. That poster absolutely nailed it.

Do you have a link to this, please?

About what?

Unlike you, I am not in this thread 24/7 with my head up Howe’s arse.

What do you think the entitled people are wrong about here? Expecting not to drop 25 points from winning positions? Not to be 14th in the league? Those both seem perfectly reasonable to me. I'd accept the entitled argument if people were demanding champions league every year but that's not what's happening here.

It doesn't need to be a change of ownership, pointing the finger them at all for their part in this would be a start. They've got away scot free despite being most to blame imo.

The manager's performance can be scrutinised to death, of course it can, but I find it crazy how much they're just bypassed and Howe bears the full brunt.

They haven’t got away ‘Scot free’ with it atall. Many people are criticising them and rightfully so. But even so, to what end? Criticism for the sake of it? You talk of ownership in decades and managers generally in a few years.

It seems like you’re just looking for something to deflect away from the manager. People can analyse a few things at the same time. My own opinion on what is needed takes into account the mistakes of the ownership.

Wanting a proven trophy winning manager who has transformed us since he took over out.  Just because we are having a poor season.

The last season was the best ever.  But now he has to go, according to some.

No one uttered a word against him when we won with 10 men against Man Utd.  Or winning away at Chelsea.  No, was quiet then.

A lot of teams would bring a new man in now and give him a look at the squad of players ready for the summer transfer window.

At the minute maresca is available I'd take him personally has worked under pep and plays the style we as a club want to playing eventually.

Wondered after the game if there's a chance the club would do as above and get somebody else in now, either to try and salvage the season or more likely have a run up to the summer window.

What a strange post. Why would anyone talk about the managers position after good wins? They are however few and far between. Brentfordx2, Sunderlandx2, Palace, Everton type performances are more frequent.

Eddie and his failing brand of football have my full and undivided support. Let's not let losing 25 points from winning positions let you waiver your opinion.

That's right, you're only here straight after a defeat to act the tit and give your loyalty to the club*

*Our CEO and owners.

I've quoted you before, a few times. Here's the general gist.

Your CEO being M.I.A for a year, your DoF walking out on the eve of the transfer window and then the club not replacing either until a month or two after the window closed isn't Howe being given the reigns, or Howe being given control, as if it's some sort of reward or privilege that he wanted or earned.

It's all of us being left in the shit and Howe having the responsibility of digging us out of it thrust upon him while those above him looked (and continue to look) at every time-critical decision that's their responsibility and respond to it by throwing their hands up and saying "inshallah". Some might say it's culture clash, or due diligence, others might say it's gross incompetence.

All football fans are entitled by logic to not anticipate their team being way way below where it should be and was previously and be a bit upset about it and question those in charge when it is.

Otherwise none of us would be upset and managers would never be under pressure.

Are PIF being scrutinised anywhere near to the extent Howe is for their part in this season?

They have backed Howe to the hilt, allowing him pretty much full control over transfers, and put £327m into the Club's accounts since June.

This season the performances are bad.

That's why he needs the opportunity to fix them in the summer. Which he's more than capable of

He transformed a relegation fighting team into a Champions League one in short time.

I can't have someone called Italiano as the manager, it's the kind of name a computer game would give you if you pressed "randomise" on the create-a-manager screen.

See also Sportiello the Italian keeper.
