lol the Howe FC masks slips further. There isn’t much better than Newcastle. No way he goes to an elite CL side

why? He has never managed in the cl before us yet we nearly got through the group of death and we was 30 minutes away from the last 8 with a weaker squad then the likes of super pep etc have...

I get people thinking he’s a good manager, but because he won a cup with us doesn’t make him elite.

For me only Pep and Emery are elite in the PL.

He can’t break down the likes of Bournemouth and Brighton. No chance he ends up at Liverpool lol.

Most top teams will realise he doesn’t know how to use to technical players

People are massively underestimating the gap between being a challenger and one of the chasing pack.

The jump is huge in football as you go up levels.

As is the difference in resources.

Apologies your feelings got hurt but fans are deluded if they think Arsenal and Liverpool will be after him.

Liverpool will likely go for Alonso and Arsenal a title winning manager or Fabregas for a new project.

Howe is great at making an average team hit above its level with pure power and athleticism but he hasn’t shown any evidence he has a clue how to make a possession based team that can break down the low block.

He’s the man before the man. Similar to a Moyes type manager.

I love the dichotomy of "We can look at up and coming managers!" but also other clubs above us wouldn't do that with Howe. Incredibly revealing.

Quite funny when you think who his playing style at its best most closely matches as well.

Up and coming managers need time to set up a project. These top teams don’t often go for that.

Will be interesting to see how much change there is this summer. There is a chance all of the top 6 this year change managers at the end of the season?

Don't think Sunderland will change their manager? :bob:

Arteta, Maresca, De Zerbi, Kompany, Amorim, Slot? Project managers are all the rage now.

Man U fans would definitely be less than thrilled if he ended up there...

There's one Man United fan who would tell you to ignore that forum and listen to him...

Considering Maresca, Rosenior, Arne Slot, Arteta, OGS and Michael Carrick have had or are in bigger jobs.

Howe is better than the majority of that lot.  Working on a smaller budget, with much tighter resources.

So odds are he will be in a top job sooner rather than later.  My money is on Liverpool.

That comment about not gonna be around for the new training ground was a bit of giveaway,Has any of the press asked him if he wants to be here next season?

Its like the players know he's goin and nobody cares now.

The speed PIF operate none of us will be around for the new training ground either

That guy said he wanted Simeone yesterday.

A very expensive, cup manager, who underperforms domestically, who demands a team who runs around a lot first and foremost, signs Conor Gallagher, who has won 4 away games all season.  And doesn't speak fluent English.
