Sad and shameful to see one of my favourite ever managers basically begging for the sack at this point.

Can’t believe what I’m reading. Two finals, the League Cup, two Champions League campaigns and “fuck offs”. Context, people. C’mon.

It’ll get better.

So where do we go from here?

What is EH going to do differently next season?

About those two Champions League campaigns.  Howe can't deal with them.  So how do we ever move forward if every time we get in the CL we finish midtable or lower?  Its not just about squad depth either.

The first one we were fine, finished seventh and should have been in Europe if not for Man City. This season, we were fucked by Isak.

And A who on earth would get us Europe and B. who could handle it?

He's just not dynamic or proactive enough. Even if he had a better transfer window in the coming summer, I don't know how people think he's going to come back a totally different coach next year

He has never demonstrated any will to change from his usual style of play or ethos at all. Which has failed him for 12 months now.

It’s horrific isn’t it, our attack is basically championship level.

All those attempts and effort, right in front of our faces, and he's lost the players? Common now.  We gave more of a shit than Arsenal who are trying to win the title.

Just because you're disappointed we didn't win, I get it.  But we have enough problems in the squad to have to invent stuff.

I can't remember what winning a game of football feels like.

There's a lot of them who are going through the motions for me. An Eddie team of yesteryear get a least a point out of that against the worst Arsenal performance I can remember us facing in living memory.

Sometimes I do admire dcmk, Genuine. When you are in real trouble you always want a friend like him

A cup winning, performing above expectation manager for 4 years.  He gets a raw deal in the summer- subsequently underperforms amid the upheaval doesn't deserve a bit of credit?

Just seems like an act of self sabotage to want him and out. When he's turned it around his whole time of being here in bad moments.

I'm Eddie in and will always love the bloke but I can completely understand the argument for change. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and who is to say they may be right and I'm wrong in hindsight

What I can't get my head around is exactly like what you say is fans being nasty and vitriolic towards the manager after what he's given us over the last 4.5 years.

I've been here before, amd  the grass isn't always greener, I'm just saying.

The fickle cunts that wanted Robson out will tell you that. Or more than likely, they'll blame somebody else.

You’ve been saying he’ll turn it around for weeks and he’s not turned it around

Very easy statement to make when the man himself has lowered the bar further than any other time in his tenure. This is the absolute pits we're watching every week.

Agree that "fuck off"s are a bit much but I can totally understand anyone who wants a change from watching this repetitive tame garbage.

It will, it’s becoming very clear who the turds are in this squad, replace them with proper players and we’ll be fine next season.

Who you getting rid of?

Surely any player who was her last season has to stay as you know they won us a cup and got champions League.

So we're just going to sell anyone we bought last summer?

I expect to have a great run to the end of the season and we’ll talk about the future when it’s time.

"It'll get better when Wissa is fit"

"Eddie's teams always click in December/January"

"It'll get better when he gets training time & one game a week"

Any advance on the next prophecy?

With respect, we spent 125m on strikers in his place, it's down to the manager to make something work, even more so since we knew he wanted to leave in april/may, this shouldn't have come as a surprise to Eddie and he should've planned for this season without Isak.

Also, club lose their best players all the time, we can't keep blaming Isak. In the last few weeks we've been scudded by Palace and Bournemouth who lost Guehi and Semenyo respectively in January  and with their managers announced they were leaving

You don't have to convert everyone. It's OK.
