He's just not dynamic or proactive enough. Even if he had a better transfer window in the coming summer, I don't know how people think he's going to come back a totally different coach next year

He has never demonstrated any will to change from his usual style of play or ethos at all. Which has failed him for 12 months now.

Which is the point I made before - he isn’t capable or doesn’t have the capacity to evolve

"Eddie's teams always click in December/January"

"It'll get better when he gets training time & one game a week"

Any advance on the next prophecy?

Well he does have a proven track record of turning us around.

Not sure now though, I don’t think he can positively effect it anymore

I hoped he would. Yeh.

And he hasn’t.

So your viewpoint of “he can turn it around because he’s turned it around before” gets consistently diluted with each defeat and shit performance.

He's won us a cup and two Champions League qualifications.

That's quite a track record.

You're disappointed we lost to Arsenal.  I get it.  You expect us to be winning there..

Has he had many transfer windows to fix this broken team?

Let's face it he was never getting signings in January.

Blame the signings > it's not him, he didn't get his first choices

Blame the players > it's not him, he's not had enough time to work with the players

Blame the performances > it's not him, we play far too much football

It's getting boring

Question for everyone, if we don't win another game this season will he go or have the owners already decided he's staying?

We're flirting with relegation, I think he's being given the opportunity to do it his way and then walk.

Quick clarification needed: Are we in the Champo ?

The one thing I would say is I still think he has easily outperformed PIF over the last 4.5 years.

Agreed, but he’s been done by Hopkinson’s words more than anything. The use of ‘expect’ over something like ‘hope’ means there’s no outcome other than him being sacked, as it stands.

Im not sure how we can continue with this set up if we fail to win another game. It looks like we cant stop the rot. So for me if we go out this season with no win its time to change. Go out with a semi decent finish we continue.

With respect, we spent 125m on strikers in his place, it's down to the manager to make something work, even more so since we knew he wanted to leave in april/may, this shouldn't have come as a surprise to Eddie and he should've planned for this season without Isak.

Also, club lose their best players all the time, we can't keep blaming Isak. In the last few weeks we've been scudded by Palace and Bournemouth who lost Guehi and Semenyo respectively in January  and with their managers announced they were leaving

On the last day of the window after getting rejected by every other cunt we tried to sign. Imagine if we did get Joao Pedro or Ekitike. We were backed into a corner and took what we could get.

Elanga I understand. Poor signing but I’m not going to sack him for that. Not a chance. Rafa signed Murphy and he was shit and then turned out okay in the end. Maybe Elanga will turn out okay some day.

A cup winning, performing above expectation manager for 4 years.  He gets a raw deal in the summer- subsequently underperforms amid the upheaval doesn't deserve a bit of credit?

Just seems like an act of self sabotage to want him and out. When he's turned it around his whole time of being here in bad moments.

Gets a raw deal are you having a laugh, there was no DoF to oversee his recruitment, so he and his nephew pretty much had complete autonomy and have pretty much wasted a quarter of a billion pounds, on strikers he does’t fancy, a very good central defender and other players that are pretty much only good in a bleep test

I’m not sure what your point is.

You’ve said for weeks that Eddie can turn it round because he’s turned it round before. Yet we keep putting in shit performances and getting beat.

Is your viewpoint now that he’ll turn it around by signing / selling players during the summer transfer window ?

Impressive how you can be completely and utterly brainwashed but retain that incredibly condescending edge, fair play.

No point even discussing anything with you, you won't ever have a bad word said against him despite the same repetitive shit we're watching every single week.

I've been here before, amd  the grass isn't always greener, I'm just saying.

The fickle cunts that wanted Robson out will tell you that. Or more than likely, they'll blame somebody else.

I said the same a while ago but some think that never happened :dontknow:

You want to keep him until his overall record is below what we could have expected?

It's getting clearer by each game that he doesn't have a clue how to get us back on track. Better call it a day now and let him be remembered for what he achieved with us and not how his career here ended, which might very well be the case if we end up with another dissapointing season.

I thought we would have better performances (I thought today performance wasn't bad) but expected more points.

I'm still of the view the summer was a disaster, and needs to freshen up the team.  It's very stale at the moment.
