We were rock bottom, had won one game in fourteen very luckily and had a player revolt when Sir Bobby was sacked in a season he was retiring at the end of anyway. It was nothing to do with the fans. But ours isn't particularly built around the manager's preferences. Howe has worked under and had positive relationships with Ashworth and Wilson (to date). Obviously him and Mitchell fell out, but that seems like it was handled poorly by both parties. Sure, nepotism may have influenced the apportionment of Andy Howe, but let's be honest, despite him being a scapegoat for fans, none of us have an awareness of how good he is at his role. I have no doubt Howe is a bit of a control freak and likes things done a certain way (like most managers), but he's always spoken of collaboration and working within the parameters of s recruitment team.
