Realistic Transfer Targets (2024/25)

Recommended Posts

If he's decided to move on from Barca, with Yamal's emergence then this is probably the best move for our right wing.

The Brazil connection with Bruno and Joe should be key, the prem experience playing in a high intensity side, his age profile is in line with Bruno's and Joelinton's too, which adds more experience and likely quickens our progression this upcoming season.

The issue with this guy will be the wages he expects to receive.

Yeah isn't Raphinha a complete no due to wages? Like what he is reportedly on is huge compared to even our top earners, so he'd need to take a huge paycut

He is on £200,000 per week at Barca. So pretty close to Bruno and Isak money. Maybe a personal sponsorship deal for adidas or sela might help.

He's first choice RW for Brazil. Its the going rate sadly and he'd expect to be on par with our best paid players given his profile.

He'd be my first RW choice albeit I dont know what budget we're playing with.

I saw Savio signed for City. Any chance Bobb is available?

Only if we can let Rowan Atkinson do the signing presentation.

Just looking at who could be possible replacements for Trippier if he were to be sold. If Tino will be the main guy, how about Lamptey as back up? 12 months left on contract, could be attainable for £10m-£15m I feel. Enough about his game to provide a good option to Tino.

Lamptey has always been quality when I have seen him, though isn't his injury record from the same ilk as Wilson?

Aye - his career trajectory is an odd one and injuries have played a part this last couple of years.

He looked mustard when he first established himself in the Brighton team.

Gut feel is that he might be available on the cheap, unless their new manager fancies him as he plays with wingbacks afaik.

Someone knowledgeable about Brighton a while ago mentioned the club internally think he's going to keep getting injuries however they determine that, hence them not being able to sell him for big bucks and limited game time.

Apparently £15 million would get that O'Riley kid from Celtic, I'd have a go at that price, maybe chuck in a few of our duds

Anyone got a clue why we don't seem to be going for Chalobah at Chelsea?

Where is TCD when you need him to break down every attribute of every player in existence?

Gomes is more alternative to Bruno. Which then releases Bruno further forward. He’s been so crucial and great under Carsley at taking ball of CBs and being press resistant. If people not seen him for u21s, he’ll blow peoples minds and show what you can do with a player if they’ve got the skill set and a good coach.

He is such a talent - I would love him here - you’d pretty much get him for a knockdown fee in Jan given his contact situation - a typical EH player as well

One of those winter transfers that can be done

Isn't he pretty much a midget? Can't see it happening at all.

Yeah he’s a short guy (Fraser height) - it’s the talent I’m more interested in - don’t need an XI full of giants - more so guys that can actually pass a ball forward
