Thought it was harsh Tripps having to handover the Captains armband to Bruno when he came on. Tripps is a leader and has been an outstanding captain.

It is a bit, but I guess you have to see the decision through rather than risk creating confusion or media tittle tattle.

Great England player. Massive contribution in 2018 and 2021.

But he probably wouldn’t have made the 2026 WC so a good moment to retire. I imagine Walker might do the same.

He'd have had a phone call from Carsley to let him know he wasn't in the future plans so he could get the word out about retiring before squad being released imho, sensible thing to do all round.

Good news for us, this along with Schar's retirement should mean we only have Bruno, Miggy, Krafth, Isak and Gordon on international duty next week.

You may see it as harsh but that's just Trippier setting standards. He immediately gave Lascelles the armband when he came on too.

Will have his uses this season if he stays. But I hope he doesn't start against Spurs. Son embarrassed him in the away fixture last season and on the evidence of the Forest game, he would do it again.

Horses for courses. Tino needs to start this one.

Defensively he's still our best RB

Since it's this late on the window already, I really want him to stay. Atleast until January.

I’ll be so damn happy if we can keep him man.
