Definitely. I thought the same thing about one of Joelinton's tackles that reminded me of Mascherano's tackle on Robben where he split his arse or something. :lol: Players like that really suit us.

Well whatever...he has cemented his place in our history. Along with the whole squad and coaching team. 

 

He will be remembered as a legend regardless and deservedly so. Might not be one of the best ever players, but on the day he was captain. Yes we've had faster midfielders, yes we've had more skilled, we've had tougher, we've even had better leaders. Bruno has the blend and the trophy

The interview he gave on the final whistle is probably the most beautifully emotive moment I've seen in football. His quality on the pitch is undoubtable - clearly one of the best players in the league since he arrived in England; however that interview displays what sets him apart from the rest. He has the extraordinarily rare ability to absorb and embody the heart, soul and mentality of our supporters, and I can tell he genuinely views walking out on the pitch as representing us. Not as a platitude or a cliche, but actually - genuinely. He's childlike in the most beautiful way, his heart is in it and we're blessed to have him. No other club in this league has a Bruno Guimarães.

I think he is one of the finest all-round midifelders we have had. His ability to keep the ball, use his body to shield the opposition, play a through ball to the forwards are such rare traits. You combine this with his passion and drive and he is an elite player. What he lacks in pace, he makes up for in his rare qualities.

Exactly, all round he's right up there. He's not going to sprint past someone like Dyer, he's not going to dribble past everyone like Ben arfa, he's not going to destroy like Batty. He does bits of all

I love this guy so much man.

 

He walked in to a team fighting relegation and talked about winning trophies and writing his name in the clubs history - but he did it with such passion and belief no-one laughed. Then when we saw his quality we all believed - it was inevitable if he stayed long enough he would lead us to glory.
