Where does it say that? What I'm reading is "I’ll make a decision based on what I see today in training. But there’s a possibility."

Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe on the availability of Bruno Guimaraes this weekend: "There is a chance [he could play]. We have seen him in training and he is pushing really hard to be back involved.

"The medical team are trying to hold him back... I say hold him back, there's always that tug because the player is desperate to play and I love that with Bruno.

"I'll make a decision based on what I see in training today but there is a chance."

This lad was clearly still ill yesterday. Came to take the corner and it looked like he was about to keel over . Was absolutely blowing, and yet still had more passion than the rest of the team combined.

Keep at all costs.

Him and Hall are the only two players I'd be gutted if they left.

Put Miley in there too and you get the nod of approval

In Paris if his latest Instagram story is anything to go by.

Will wash my mouth out after saying this, but he would be exceptional in that PSG midfield as a Fabian Ruiz replacement. Joao Neves, Vitinha and Bruno G. All Portuguese speaking, all tenacious ballers. Would be the best midfield 3 in world football.

He's the catalyst for this team - without him they're nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

We lose all football ability. We lose a lot of leadership, determination, grit etc.

Even when people said he was poor last season, I always thought he was one to get on the ball and try and play.

Has been a major factor in the down term of our form, he lifts the whole team when he’s playing. There are not many like him in the whole league. For me he’s very close to being in the Premier league team of the season.

Won’t get in there because we’ve been shit and he’s been injured but he’s been elite

Huge failing this season is not signing someone capable of giving Bruno a rest now and then without massive drop off.

And it’s been poor management that he goes to every Brazil camp even for meaningless friendlies.  Even CBs like Gabriel have had games off for Brazil

I agree the Bruno canumdrum is an issue we have no obvious solution to he's that pivotal as a player to us it scares me to think he's no in footballing speaking terms a spring chicken anymore.

However part of his being/character is the want to play every moment and game for us which we love I assume he feels the same for the national side.

Ironically this injury is probably his biggest break since he signed.

Of course. But this is where he needs to be managed.

Jacob Ramsey was never going to be able to take away enough minutes from the big 3.

I agree of course I do but if hes fit and even when he's not 100% he wants to play we love that aspect of his personality and as demonstrated by the stat we rarely win without him we really lean on him for it.

As he gets older I appreciate that is not sustainable hopefully one of these young lads linked for midfield can become the understudy we badly need if Miley isnt going to be.
