Kanj Posted yesterday at 21:45 Share Posted yesterday at 21:45 Bruno doing that little outside of foot touch pass to Murph for the assist was pure taste.

Tiresias
Ever amazed that on our first transfer window under the new owners, while bottom of the league staverley howe and nixon in a room phoning people manically to get some players to save us from the drop we managed to land this guy? It's ridiculous!
Groundhog63
Gordon goal. Big Jow steams into the box Bruno drifts in Gordon shoots, scores Bruno's arms aloft, runs upto Joe and jumps into his arms. Joyous
Thumbheed
Man I almost want us to win a trophy for him more than for us.
KaKa
That chance he created for Tonali that drew the great save from Martinez man ... Waits on the ball for Tonali to start moving forward into the gap, carries it forward a bit to draw the defender then lays it on a plate for him. So good. Love that Tonali saw to attack that space too. Creating some fantastic openings for us.

Pretty rare to find such a great playmaker who's also so able and willing to mix it.
Lotus
He dropped deep on occasion and was level with Tonali. I think that’s the basis of a very good formation if we ever become a team that wants to control the ball for periods rather than banging it forward at every opportunity. Very press resistant and both players have got the ability to play penetrative passes upfield. Would work well with a roving Willock imo. Especially against Spurs who leave acres of space between midfield and defence.

The beauty now is our 6 really does hold now in Tonali more often than not and he’s about to recycle and switch or defend and cut out a counter. When Bruno played that role, our 8 would be in the box. Bruno would be near the box and we’d love the ball and it’s counter time.
