Gaztoon
Everton is the blueprint of how not to do it. The money spent and to be in a relegation battle is crazy.
Cronky
I didn't think that Lampard was the best choice for a relegation scrap, where experience counts for a fair bit. He played an aggressive, high press last night, but Spurs had the technical ability to beat it and expose the back four. Full marks for positive thinking, but it didn't turn out to be the best strategy.

He tried playing Havertz as a deep lying number 8 at Chelsea, and persisted with that high line and press last night after it was clear that Spurs would time and time again get in behind Everton as Keane is dreadful and Coleman is past it. If a manager can't realise that a particular tactic doesn't fit the personnel he has then you've got an enormous problem.

Dandy Man
At the risk of sounding like a conspiratorial nutter, is there a chance that one day some cynical team/manager could plant someone in crowd to fake a medical emergency to get a potentially advantageous break in play in an important game

Just thinking how it killed the atmosphere at the Spurs game at home - no one could be arsed after it. Bruceball didn’t help like.

Kid Icarus
Love the idea of some Dick Dastardly manager taking it that far, with all of the intricate planning, pay offs, and people who would need to be in on it, then Southampton just get one of their players to sit down.
