Yeah, its not much of a story really (surprise surprise for the Chronic!).

Apparently the Saudi guy is looking to invest into an English club, and its basically some financial expert (agreeing with what SJ said) suggesting the likes of Sunderland (because of the Netflix exposure) or Sheff Wed would be a better acquisition than the likes of Leeds who are out of his price range. Reckons either would still cost at least £100m though.

Sheffield Wednesday are probably the biggest and possibly last of the English sleeping giants who could be bought.

West Ham are going through their gradual takeover, Leeds have their 49’s takeover, and Everton have just had theirs.

Sunderland have a big stadium, but the fans will only turn up to a sellout once in a blue moon, and need to be handed tickets for free and discounted rates to keep their figures in line with clubs of a similar stature.

Can you imagine what will happen if they came up and suddenly faced ticket prices like we and others do?

Think I'd recognise two Sunderland players if they walked past me, and one of them is because he looks like Jude Bellingham.

Which one looks like Jude Bellingham ?

That is the saddest thing the daft cunts have ever done as far as I'm concerned.  And there's some serious competition

It doesn’t compare to the A Love Supreme days of 1999-2001. The shit they put on a t-shirt, whole new level of grift.

From the conversations I've had this week with Makems, those will sell out

TBF I can remember ALS during that period - and I'll grudgingly say that ALS was always a good fanzine - and fuck me, you'd think that us finishing 11th and them finishing 7th in consecutive seasons was like Hartlepool beating Barcelona; they never understood that they supposedly viewed us as equals, yet went on as if finishing above us was miraculous

They're confused, and have always been like that
