Two young lads working the ventilation shafts were known as half marras, sharing a wage. When the Cumbrian lads moved to the Northumberland and Durham pits the term was incorporated into north east pit yak

Trying to say now that Clarke will be worth at least the same A player who has not played one minute of top flight football against against a player who has played champions league football and is a current full international. OCK Posted Sunday at 11:17 Share Posted Sunday at 11:17 I did notice there were several Saudi Super Yachts parked outside the Brighton Super Soccer Areana.

Joelinton7 Posted Sunday at 13:34 Share Posted Sunday at 13:34 No they will be going spare at this. It’s Mag-Saudi corruption brazenly out in the open. Bribes all owa the place man. Why haven’t the government and the king made a joint statement decrying this? It’d have been like Christmas Eve for them last night dreaming of a points deduction for us. But once again the spawny Mag comes up smelling of roses.
TheBrownBottle Posted Sunday at 13:43 Share Posted Sunday at 13:43 It must be upsetting to learn that a winger on our books who has never kicked a ball for us just went for three times what they hope Jack Clarke is worth …

Wolfcastle Posted Sunday at 15:34 Share Posted Sunday at 15:34 Their club was worth £32m when Metven and Donald bought it. The equivalent of a Newcastle reserve

Fezzle
6 different Sunderland tops in this airport. Now I am totally convinced it's a coincidence they are flying to ponteland and just happened to travel in them.....
Chris L
Sensible decision by rigg. If he joined a prem side. He’d either be in the reserves or loaned out anywhere and everywhere for a couple of years. At Sunderland he will get first team football probably quite often. wonder if any club approached him with /Sunderland and had the offer of staying at Sunderland on loan next season. But chose to stay there as their player instead.

Since Rigg and his family held all the cards in the negotiation, would imagine there is quite a low release clause to get him out of there whenever he wanted. Might be our only way of getting him as those fuckers would never sell direct after the Black & White Bar incident.
et tu brute
Sensible decision, must admit everytime I've seen him play for them, he hasn't stood out. Only 16 though so not really surprising. Best to stay at that level and grow in surroundings he's comfortable with, as he would only be loaned out by a premiership club Edited 10 hours ago by et tu brute
