Norwich City 0-3 Newcastle United (23/04/22)

Scrappy game but we've made our chances count. We were struggling to pass it round with any zip at the start (feel as though the pitch was slow and we looked leggy) but played some nice stuff as the game went on

Longstaff the only real negative

Isn't this where Joe played in Germany?

Nagelsman used him in a variety of roles, up top, wide forward, and sometimes in behind one striker and also in behind two strikers. He's now added central midfield to his box of tricks this season. Such a valuable, versatile player.

Longstaff is so terrible today

He's done ok, and a fantastic pass for Murphy ahead of our first goal. As far as our midfield 3 goes, Willock is the first that should be subbed based on performance so far.

Aye, definitely grown into the game. Quality was horrific for the first half hour. Norwich look absolutely sapped.

His value to us will be in his versatility. He's also slowly racking up his goal scoring.

He doesn't need to score 20 goals a season for us. He should set himself a modest target of 8-10.

Have you been watching a totally different game? He looks shot man. He can't pass the ball more than five yards.

If he did play that pass to Murphy then it's his only high point - I thought it was Bruno.

Pretty poor game, but I'm still enjoying watching with minimal pressure or concern.

Bruno likes to play the pass noticeably quicker than almost everyone else in the team; he's too quick of mind for some of our players.

ASM is just off form, not for lack of effort and he seems to be trying to mix his play up but very little is coming off for him.
