You can see why we wanted Barnes, he's rapid as well as a goal threat as well.  Pace is definitely something we need across the squad.

Aye; Gordon, Isak, Barnes, Almiron and probably Willock are the only players in the squad with genuine pace. Especially now Maxi's gone.

Well, albeit it's a friendly, but we are really struggling to contain Chelsea when they get a run on us in this one. Some of our players definitely less equipped for foot races than others.

Our midfield is a little too static at the moment. Not much movement when the defence come out with the ball.

This is one of our trademarks, Eddie loves the midfield to be high when we play out.

Aye true. It was at home against anyone shite too. Risk reward stuff but it works/ed like a charm.

Gap between midfield and defence is yuge at all times mind.

It’s on them to pull the midfield back or step up as a line, to be fair. Just lacking sharpness when on the ball, hopefully, but ponderous so far apart from that trademark Schär ping to Gordon.

Disagree. Some decent footwork, but his final ball has been lacking massively.

Haven't seen much final ball from anyone so far, although we haven't been attacking much.
