Don’t like how a few aren’t taking the Global Football Week in Melbourne seriously. Red flags galore

Not a bad squad actually. Gutted to miss out on seeing Gordon but hopefully I can grace my eyes on Bruno, Big Joe and Isak!!

I’m going to Melbourne this week for the games. I know the players and some fans don’t like the idea of this trip, but i live in New Zealand and get up at 3am for most games to watch, so it’s nice to see a couple of games live as I won’t be getting to SJP anytime soon…

Same here, travelling from Queenstown NZ on Wednesday. Seeing both the matches and going to the talk-in. I wonder who the talk-in is, anyone know?

Forgot we even had Harrison Ashby.

Thought the same thing. He was having a crap season on loan the last time I checked, I think?

I still find it mental they're already on the way to Australia. Modern footballers really do not get time to recover at all.

All these round the world friendlies pre-season and now post-season....and clubs will complain about too many games and want to remove the League Cup or reduce teams in the PL

Is that not an avenue clubs are forced down due to the financial constraints placed upon them by the league?

You've already heard Eddie say it's less than perfect, but probably something we feel we have to do to make up ground where we can. And obviously Darren eales remit seems to be engage as much overseas supporters as possible.

On anywhere?

Not sure. Spurs seem to be showing it on their “SpursPlay” but you need an account, not sure if it is a paid thing or not.

You’d hope they put it on NUFC TV but will drop a message in here if I see anything else

I flew from Newcastle back to Melbourne on Friday and I'm still absolutely wiped out. Was supposed to be at work at 7am today and didn't wake up til 12. I can't even fathom playing a professional football match so soon after a long trip.

I'll be going to both matches so hopefully the lads aren't too fucked.
