Yes, I forgot that every Newcastle fan lives in Newcastle.

No one suggested they did but I’m using the majority of the fans that will be going. I don’t care where you live. Your argument was that it shouldn’t be played in Edinburgh instead of Newcastle because of accommodation. My argument is it’s only an hour and 20 mins of a difference by train

I’ve got no drama with playing in Edinburgh, that wasn’t the point. The timing isn’t great if you want / need to stay overnight. NUFC.com highlighted the same issue. I stayed over in Glasgow last pre-season and had a great time. There’s plenty will need to travel onwards after they get back if you live in Alnwick, Carlisle etc.

Presumably why it’s kicking off at 5:15pm?

Anyone got their email link yet?

Being sent out at 4pm apparently.

Although if every ST holder and member is getting one, I wouldn't panic if you haven't got one straight away. Will probably take a bit of time to filter through, and there's more than enough tickets to go round.

They never send them out on time. I’m still waiting for my season ticket waiting list link email.

Even if it doesn't turn up, you'll still be able to get a ticket on Monday if you register for the pre-sale. Appreciate that's not much good if you want to sit with mates who've received the link like.

Not all tickets are the price quoted, a lot of them are nearly £70, and train tickets have just went up £5 each way.

im between Glasgow and Edinburgh and I can’t be arsed at those prices

The cheapest tickets are actually £42 with the fees as well.

I nearly went to Man Utd Vs Lyon a few years ago just to tick off Murrayfield. What ultimately put me off was the stupid prices. These events are organised through Murrayfield I think and are priced like a foreign pre-season friendly.

I'm willing to bite the bullet since it's NUFC but it's daft pricing given how non glamorous it actually is.
