great for the players.

and the fans - some refs will be copping it big style off us this season!

Actually thought it wasn’t allowed but apparently it shows you on the big screen which I can’t see!

Didn’t realise this at the time - wow

I don’t remember that either tbh. It’s not as obvious as the Mings one, but I don’t think they would have had too much to complain about had it been given.

Some canny newcastle stories

Finished watching this and ultimately was left with a feeling of sadness relating to his NUFC career.

Obviously he made some stupid decisions when he was here, but how much of that was related to his issues in his childhood, who knows. On top of all the injuries, you’re just left feeling he really could have become a club legend if things had been different, and it wasn’t necessarily (all) his fault.

Good to see him looking well. Remember that Spurs game massively and how bad he looked and sounded.

I don’t like that Alex Hurst but on occasion he makes decent points as much as it pains me to admit. She on the other hand is consistently abysmal.

Agree.

I like the fact Brentford are coming to us rather than us going to them in the League Cup.

Yes, I agree, but at the same time that table is probably slightly misleading when you consider their home games so far have been:

Palace

Southampton

West Ham

Wolves

Ipswich

Bournemouth

The Sopranos theme music but instead the lyrics are:

"Woke up this morning. Go check the forum. Check who's the chosen one. See what the forum said. We'd get £80 million"
