Just had a look at todays Chronicle. No mention of Woltermade on front or back page. Both of those pages devoted to Champions League fixtures.

Woltemade news makes it to a small article on one of the inside sport pages, right at the bottom of the page - underneath an almost full page article about our pursuit of Wissa.

I think the only ones that come close are the pairings in the two Championship seasons because the levels were so far above. Colo/Willo probably tops Lascelles/Clark.

In my lifetime, yes. Woodgate, Colocinni were decent as individuals but the partnerships they were in weren’t as long term and productive. Schar and Burn have played together 134 times for 10997 minutes averaging 1.8 PPG.
 

By comparison:

Peacock-Howey played 80 together for 6800 mins gaining 1.94 PPG

 

Peacock-Albert played 101 together for 8020 mins gaining 1.77 PPG
