Tsunami
I was in the Corner, not my usual spot in The Gallowgate but they’d closed the gates where I usually stood. Remember speaking to random fans at HT asking what we’d just witnessed. Leicester were in the Play Offs and we easily could have scored 10 by HT. Amazing day. We’d had some pretty lean years immediately before that season. KK the player had been and gone, we were a selling club, we’d blown a Promotion made worse by who we’d lost to with a (as many clubs) bit of a ramshackle stadium. Fair to say, we knew our place. That season transformed the club, the momentum we carried into the following season to become Sky’s Entertainers can’t be understated.

What a time to be a supporter.

The whole day was just incredible and we all knew we were heading into an era of the type we'd never seen before. Enjoy! https://x.com/i/status/2052995161974604252 I was sat in the gallowgate on one of those concrete crowd stoppers with my older cousin stood behind me in case I fell backwards. Was only 8 but I still remember that day. It was absolutely brilliant.
Whitley mag
The East Stand concourse at half time was just the Andy Cole song on repeat for 15 minutes. How times have changed.

Remember them being fucking freezing when you sat on them in the winter matches, the wind blowing through the ground was fucking biblical. Used to sit there shivering my tits off. Was one of those days that I can remember so well despite being 33 years ago. Went to the Battle Hill Club with my dad (only time we did it that season). He bought me a pint of Exhibition (I was 15 at the time). We had a game of snooker then got into his works van and drove into town. Parked up at the Dental hospital and got into the ground an hour before kick off. Watched Lindisfarne play up in the Leazes end that was under construction and then the match kicked off..... Pilko
Remember watching an interview with Bez who said when they came in at 6-0 Keegan asked if anyone wanted to come off second half to give a few of the other lads a chance to taste the atmosphere, and he stuck his hand up because he wanted to sit back and watch some our unbelievable footy for himself and enjoy the whole thing.
