For some reason they gave Leicester a bigger than usual allocation. All season, other than against the Mackems, the away fans were given the small Leazes H Paddock corner but for this game they gave Leicester the G Paddock right behind the goal as well which meant locking out around 1,500 NUFC fans from the title celebration game. Never understood why they did that.

He fit the bill of the players Sir Bobby was signing at the time.

Was about to say "he was alright wasn't he?" then looked up his stats and saw he scored nine goals in 88 games. My memories of him are him scoring twice in a season-opening pummelling of West Ham and also in Leverkusen.

He was the original "chaos" wasn't he? £2.5m to Colchester was a load of money back then too.

joeyt Posted yesterday at 15:54 Share Posted yesterday at 15:54 Was walking past The Strawberry yesterday and had a quick chat with a father (who was probably in his 80s) and his son (probably in his 50s) who were Dutch and travelled from Amsterdam to do the SJP stadium tour and then finishing with a pint in The Strawberry Don't know why but I felt it was really wholesome and love the thought of them planning a trip to Newcastle to visit SJP

Loki679
Makes sense. Nickson knows he's off so he's started blabbing everything to the window licker for a laugh. Explains wor Lee's sudden reinvention as an actual journalist.
