Sibierski
4 hours ago, Froggy said: Aye, £4.1m in total for Ashworth which included compensation to Newcastle and severance. Minging. Accounts also showed that we've now crossed the £1b mark in interest payments from Glazer debt since 2005, and debt now stands at >£1b. Without the INEOS injection, cash balance would be non-existent. A sorry state of affairs. Ineos will be taking out similar payments in future years too, giving their cost cutting across all over divisions.

Unfortunately they aren't , whilst it's great laughing at how bad they are now the way PSR is setup to favour the cartel clubs means they will eventually overtake the likes of us again. Purely down to them being allowed to spend and pay wages we will never be allowed to do .

I know that there was a claim that the figure included pay, severance AND compen to NUFC - this strikes as being fantastically unlikely.

It's fact on paper in black and white. what we don't know is how much went to Newcastle and how much went to Ashworth.
