With regard to the newcastle predictions everyone is making, why the negativity?

As it currently stands, we've only signed 1 outfield player who wasn't here last season who is a defender (a very good one admittedly). Despite that our most pressing issue is the attack and are yet to make any kind of concrete offer for any kind of attacker.

I dont think Manu will be ahead of us, they are very fragile and I think a couple of losses and they will lose their heads.

Arsenal are still a soft core team, they now have a class front line but that doesnt change a mind set, they will fañter as well.

We have a full pre-season with Howe and I would bet my house that we sign a right winger and striker within a couple of weeks. We will be very hard to beat and will have a bit more bite up front with calum and new player to attack with.

Top six, or seventh if the others dont falter line I think they will….

Basically everyone who we should be looking to catch above us have improved massively. Not only this but so far we haven’t made an attacking signing, and are short in the forward, RW, and CM positions.

Think we'll target 7th but the big 6 and West Ham alone are way ahead of where we are. Then you've got the likes of Brighton, Villa, Leicester still. Finish top 2 of the group behind that and I think it's decent.

Dunno man, if Liverpool win CL, FA Cup and League Cup against the sort of opposition they’re going to face this year I don’t know how Klopp doesn’t win Manager of the Year.

It's supposed to be Premier League manager of the season. Hopefully they'll stick to that next year.

Is predicting between 12th and 8th particularly negative like? That's decent progress and solidifying.

I think 11th below is mind. Don't think it's unreasonable expecting our highest finish since promotion with the manager, staff and squad we have.

Contrary to the majority, i think the following teams will be good and/or average next season and we will compete with them at the top end of the table:

Arsenal - still a soft core team who do not like physical/up´n at em´games. Yes, will score more goals but are very susceptible to them as well.

West ham - apart from Rice, I struggle to see them continuing their form.

Villa - decent signings, but unsure whether or not Gerrard is a class manager, we will see this season. To challenge top six?

leicester - no signings and not great vibes for Rogers. No way are they callenging.

Manu - it will take a couple of losses for them to fall apart again. They are very fragile.

Spurs, Citeh and Liverpool will almost certainly be top 3, with chelsea in and about. But 5th 6th and 7th are wide open in my opinion....

I'd have us comfortably 8th without any serious injury losses over the season.

Equally with the little to no injuries and a small investment again in January, possibly even a place higher.

I think our season will be defined by how fit the camp stay.

Think 7th is too far for us tbh, 8th would be possible with 2 top class additions

In my eyes, it would be us vs West Ham. 2 more players and I fancy. We will see I suppose.
