Still not worthy of a thread

Seymour was definitely a Bishop stool. And an effective one at that. He wasn't here to convince those that engaged him, he was here to offer solidarity to the silent, undecided.

Let's imagine our fan base is equally split, into 3 categories, the die-hard "fuck the club"s, the die-hard "My club"s, and the middle, undecided, ground. What would be the intelligent PR campaign?

Try to convince those that are actively protesting Ashley's ownership, and are prepared to die on their hill. Does Ashley want those fans anywhere near the club, upsetting his cosy little business arrangement? No.

Appeal to those who have already committed? Nah.

So that leaves the silent, undecided. What to do with them? You counter your opponents attempts to convince them. One person is all it takes.

He was a perfectly reasonabe fella, who's opinion encouraged vitriol. Vitriol that could inspire a fellow minded, reasonable fella to reject the opposite opinion, just because.

I started by saying to imagine we had an equal spit 3 ways, but given the size of our fan base, compared to ticket sales there is nowhere near 1/3 in support of Ashley. But none of us know, and are therefore susceptible to suggestion. The more Seymour wet on, the more people were open to the suggestion that the number was bigger than they had assumed.

'Etihad doesn't literally translate as united, but it implies it at the same time. It's a noun that means unison, union or alliance. "But United is an adjective, so the word for that would be Mutthid.'

But it's a blatent backpass

It's not as he headed it back to the GK, as the laws stand.

Who will no doubt promptly hang on to it for well over the requisite 6 secs, wasting the time anyway.

Wish they’d clamp down on this tbh.

Aye the 6 second time limit seems to have died a death, should be enforced more when it's blatantly time wasting.

Jesus fuck. What a load of garbage. They've tightened up on handball now, so if the ball rebounds off a beachball, onto your little pinky it's an offence. But this flagrant breaking of the rules is okay because that isn't the intention of the rule. Fuck off.

The concept of an unfair advantage seems to have vanished.

In the next chapter of the battle between the Spanish FA and La Liga, the Spanish FA has banned Friday and Monday league games. Thing will probably go to court since La Liga says they are moving forward with the current format (that has la liga play Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon).

The FA already scuppered La Liga's plans to play games abroad last season.
