Agree. Likely be a bit of short term pain as we transition, but once dust settles and our new signings in full flow under Howe, we’ll be better for it long term.

 

Key we get Tino, Hall, Tonali and Bruno tied down on new deals though by the season ends so we can go into summer with the main guys secured. Rest are fair game.

With every transfer window, the bare minimum I expect is for the squad to come out of the window stronger than it was coming in. It's almost certain that we've achieved that despite losing one of our best players who is also our top scorer, that's no mean feat.

I get the feeling that we want to sell Isak before buying Wissa/someone else, which doesn't make sense because Isak will likely never play for us again anyway.
