I haven’t seen the big clubs going after him and it’s a lot of money. I haven’t seen Barcelona or Real Madrid going in for him either and they would’ve seen plenty of him in La Liga. nufc123
I dont think Merson did anything wrong here. Its the likes of Skysports and others who comes up with the isak this Isak that. Tiresome.
SiLvOR
These dullard "pundits" think it's 2010 still. We're owned by Ashley and eager sellers, and the "top 6" clubs can buy whoever they want. Not quite. Fucking wankers. Keep Isak's name out of your fucking mouths
andyc35i
These links don’t mean anything because he’s going nowhere. And I’d rather lose him for nothing in 3 years time just so I can watch the man play football in the black and white shirt for all that time.

A lot of times they won't just look at the quality of the player and trust the scouting info and data their recruitment teams spend so much time pulling together. It has to be a 'big name' that other 'big clubs' are after. It's exactly why they passed on both Bruno and Isak despite being linked with them so much prior to us making a move in both instances. Long may it continue. Now their fans are all over the place screeching for the club to spend big on the likes of Isak, Kudus and Cunha. Absolute mugs man. ExiledGeordie
Arsenal will be more than sniffing around in the summer. If we get champions league he’s going nowhere, Europa league may still stay. If he decided he wanted to leave then whoever signs him is going to have to pay through the nose to get him. Arsenal paid 100m for Rice ffs.

Lush Vlad
2 hours ago, Fak said: He is starting to weigh in with assists this season. But he really should have a lot more based on this. Put it on a plate quite a few times and whoever is on the end of it has fluffed the chance. Always found it odd that his assist numbers for us have been so low. It's not like he's a poacher type or just plays between the posts. Nice to see he is getting even more involved and creating big chances.

I am pretty sure Isak is happy here, we play good football and he's at a good club. If we get CL football - which I think there's a good chance we will - and we can bump up his pay closer to what he would get elsewhere, then he will stay. t00nt00n313
I think people overate just how much players care about playing in the CL. Don't get me wrong, some players absolutely do want to play for a team like Real Madrid (if they think they'll actually be played) where they have a genuinely good chance of actually winning the CL and not just participating, but just getting to play in the CL itself isn't the draw people think it is. What I will say though is that if people overrate how much players care about CL football, they underated how much players in today's game care about having a very high salary and this is where I'm worried. We can't really pay isak the same amount that other clubs could due to FFP. I will also say, players want to be in a team where they are doing well as this directly affects their value and how much media attention they get. Thankfully isak is doing well with us at the moment so that's less of an issue. Edited January 3 by t00nt00n313
