Alexander Isak: has a chance to play against Everton (Howe)

I think that the artist wanted us to focus on Alexander’s inner peaceful place and take a deeper look at what life might be like to be one of the best centre forwards in Europe. Perhaps it is a fictional place, or maybe it is a real location that means something special to Isak, which influenced the artist to create this drawing. Maybe he was attempting to express an emotion more than a physical place.

To me this painting symbolises a calm, pensive gloom that all Newcastle Utd fans experience at some point in our lives, reflecting on who we are, our purposes, and whether Alexander must be sold to balance the books.

Good player when fit, be good to have him back on this showing

If and it’s a big if he can actually be fit enough to get back on the pitch regularly he could well play a part in qualifying for Europe. Anything is a bonus though, the bloke is literally permanently injured and hasn’t proved for a year he can stay fit. Hes going to limited to 30 minute cameos even if he does come back.

This place is fucking tedious. Every thread seems to be WUMs galore.

Should be a bannable offence to go trolling on here after a defeat.

Best centre forward in the world - had no service yesterday - will notch at Southampton

He was also very well marked by Huijsen, who played very well. Wish we could have followed through on him when we were interested.

I think PSG are going to come in with a big bid in the summer. They don’t have a world class centre forward and have money to burn.

I think you’re full of worry and fret for no reason.

I get your point, but they could get a payday and inflate their value at the same time.

World class? Probably none. Hakimi is a good shout, but I think he relies on recovery rather than actual defending.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was happy to go there, from a club that is probably bigger than us. If they can offer Isak UCL and double his salary, I'm sure he would be considering it.

If the money’s right I don’t see why he wouldn’t be interested; guaranteed UCL football every season, a fat paycheck, trophies every season, nice city (for a wealthy young man) and a chance to stat-pad with goals every week.

Doubt anyone would be willing to pay the 150 plus million we’d surely be asking for though. We can start worrying once he’s on the last 2 years of his contract.

Surly if any club can afford him its PSG. Whether it fits into the new 70% of revenue PSR rules, who knows. I obviously don't want him to leave, but I'm not naïve to think there aren't clubs with the ability to

spend huge sums of money that could meet a 150 million transfer fee. Such as PSG.

And Bruno was apparently leaving to a high bid from Man City or Real Madrid in the last 5 windows.

Do PSG really have that much to spend in a FFP world anyways? They spent loads on the Mbappe new contract, he went on a free, and then they spent $187m last summer. On top of this they have changed strategy to focus more on team building as a whole rather than going for a few expensive superstars..

I hope you're correct.

Honestly, if we were going to sell Isak for big money, I'd rather it was to a club like PSG anyway. At least we wouldn't have to watch Sky having a wankfest over him playing for Arsenal or Liverpool.
