Alexander Isak: has a chance to play against Everton (Howe)

Recommended Posts

I'm biased because of where he's from and his history, but he might just be the best player I've seen play for us. If not, he's easily in the top 5.

Great decision to play him. Ahahaha

Not watching. Did he go out injured again? Or are you talking about his performance?

Went off, seems to be a recurrence of his groin injury but he wasn't moving that badly.

Looked so sharp first half. Faded away with rest of team after HT. Think it was stupid to play him that long after missing last game through injury.

Would be pretty annoyed if he's out for a while now. We saw this happen too many times last season. Happened again recently with Botman. Different knee in that case, but that can also happen if you're not ready.

Don't want to say too much until we have more info on how bad it is, mind.

Eddie's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't in this case. The fans are desperate for a cup win so I can see why he rolled the dice.

Well. We have a cup final coming up pretty soon, that should also have quite some weight in the decision, don't you think? He might be fine, I didn't see it. We'll see.

Sure. But if I were to make a stat about how often recurrences has happened for each club in the last 2 seasons, using percentages. We both know our percentage would be way above average.

By the way. Do you also automatically trust VAR decisions, as the people behind the screen are after all professional Premier League referees compared to us who are just fans?

No I don't, bit I've been given no reason to doubt Bunce. We've had a very low amount of injuries this session.

He's damned if he does in my view. Said in the pre-match I'd rather not risk anything for the sake of one game.

We are such a one man team at the moment, most of the others seem to havs forgotten how to play football.

He's just a different level to every other play in the team

It's the flip side to an Isak when the club aren't ready for them. We're so reliant on him that we fall apart when he's not there.

Need to build up the squad around him
