He would love it at a club where the fans celebrate for 2 minutes, then start whining about how they only won one trophy that year and they could’ve been better.

I think like all our top players he'll want to see serious moves in the summer. We've been asleep for the last 3 windows so this one needs to be a statement summer.

Look at that picture man ...

That win and the implications will have impacted the players so much.

Easy to forget that before Newcastle things were quite inconsistent for Isak despite having always been a very highly rated prospect.

It's all come together at Newcastle. Joining the club made him the star he is now.

On top of that the club has a lot of talent in the first team and plays a style that allows him to flourish.

There is also the ambition to continue to build on the team going forward and improve further. This will be back on track from this summer now we are better navigating PSR.

He is apparently going to be offered a lucrative contract as the lead man in the team.

Now imagine leaving to join Arsenal or Liverpool in spite of all that, just because they are a "big club" and have more "legacy".

When the reality is there's really no guarantees of anything going forward for anyone other than Man City, who are overpowering everyone with the crazy money they have from their dodgy sponsorship deals.

Personally, I think he'd be nuts to join an Arsenal or Liverpool this summer. And I'd seriously be questioning the guys intelligence if he pushed for that.

An unrelated point, in his relatively short NUFC career to date he's done well to have 5 celebrations that he's made pretty famous. Hands on hips v West Ham, the fuck is going on in the 5-1 Spurs game, sliding knees with the guns against almost everyone, the get back against everyone and now the cup final goal.

6-1 spurs, let's not let them get away with nothing but the full humiliation

Wonder if any sponsors will be in for him now,Boot deals and tv adverts type stuff. The cartel would hate that

Almost definitely would be safeguards against this, but what’s to stop a Saudi boot manufacturer or clothing brand sponsoring him for the equivalent of his yearly wage?

Bit like when Mancini did one days coaching in Abu Dahbi for £7m

He is the first globally known footballer originating from East Africa, sponsors are missing a trick if they don't exploit that, he can be even bigger than the likes of Salah in that region.

Mentioned to this to some other lads  (about this video) but what is really remarkable is watching the development of his overall game / types of finishes.

Re: Isak and leaving, I do not think there is a club in england who could realistically fork out 200m to sign him; and yes I think he's worth more than 150m we were using/seeing before. Barca do not have that money, Real sign guys on frees, Paris may have that money - but I do not see him going there.

If the club matches Isak's ambition by continuing to add pieces, pay him star money, Isak has everything in his skillset to fire us to a title, europe, and trophies. He's that good.

This summer might be a bit of a worry. I just want this shut down asap. He’s not leaving this next window under any circumstances

He won't. Do you really think our owners are gonna be like: "Quansah and a packet of biscuits??"
