r0cafella
Personally not keen on the engagement farming particular from Romano but it's quite clear they are trying their luck and testing our resolve. If it does happen we've sanctioned it ultimately, I know who I'll be blaming either way.

If Liverpool offered £300 million tomorrow and we accepted and told him he can leave, he isn't going to say no. The important thing is so far we've heard nothing of him agitating for a move or being a nuisance. Looks like he's leaving it up to the club to decide what they want to do, which sucks for everyone else. This is so silly man.

So we value Yamal at £200m, whereas Isak would be closer to £100m. As an attacker, we tend to see scoring rates peak at around 25 or 26. It’s not like what it used to be in the days of Michael Owen, where players would fall off a cliff in their late twenties, and we might expect someone like Isak with a reasonably good injury record to sustain form into the future — but he’s not a real upstart any more.” These factors mean that Isak’s value — around £100m, by consensus — might be affordable to some clubs. But the transfer landscape and Newcastle’s resolve means that his price — possibly over £150m — is borderline unreachable Yes, it's nonsense. Kane broke the Bundesliga scoring record in his thirties. Salah just did the G+A record in the Prem. Lewa is still doing it at what? 37? Seriously folks, don't fall for this bollocks. All that matters in this story is Liverpool are worthy and NUFC are not. Everything must be bent to fit this narrative.
Andy84
Why would he close the door? Of course he’d be open to move but I don’t think he will agitate this summer. We can match his level in a sporting sense by being in the UCL, just need to show him the money now. We hold all the power and if we tell him he’s staying, he’s staying Edited July 16, 2025 by Andy84

Have we sold any purples yet? Look at the golf they didn't take any bullshit then either. The Chairman has came stated we're not selling Isak. He also said it's their ambition to be number one. Isak won't be going anywhere this summer. A few on here (and social media) deserve Ashley back as owner, as all they do is whine about the owners, when in the space of three and a half years, we have seen two champions league qualifications and a first trophy in most people's lifetime. The amount of bedwetting on here is embarrassing Edited July 16, 2025 by et tu brute

So far in charge of us they have not shown a ruthless streak imo. Again not a knock on them.
ExiledGeordie
All the journos at that end of season true faith event said we’d probably sell him to the continent next summer rather than strengthen Liverpool this summer. Players wishes and money usually talks but I think he’ll stay this season. We’ll give him a new contract with a release clause.

Whitley mag
Don’t mistake the Saudi’s playing by the book as them not being fucking ruthless. As with a lot of these Middle East oil nations it’s a dick waving contest and optics are everything.
christ
I’d like us to retire the term ‘bed wetting’. It’s RTG-coded. Instead can I suggest ‘pant shitting’?

Fak
Haha. Of course he hasn't shut the door on Liverpool man, who would? Romano says he's also in conversations with us as we want to give him a new deal. He's clearly not forcing the move through. Yet.

The owners true intentions will be on full display this year with regards to the stadium, training ground and sponsorship (APT decision pending my belief). Once that happens a full outline of what are the true intentions, will be there for everyone to see.
