The last week has been a rollercoaster, the constant speculation and media pressure has been relentless. Can imagine it's been unsettling for Isak who just needs a moment to take a deep breath, as do we as a fanbase. Most likely scenario is that Isak signs a fat new 250k a week contract with a release clause and a gentleman's agreement that we'll allow him to move on next summer. I just don't envisage the club being open to offers this summer considering how brutal the market is right now for strikers. Nicolas Jackson anyone? We're struggling as it is to secure another striker, never mind buying two if Isak left. Even if Isak puts in a transfer request, the club will continue to block a move, I simply can't envisage a scenario in which he leaves this summer.
