IMO him/his agent would like it to be around £100-120m which would mean quite a few teams would probably make an offer. We probably don’t want to even think about selling him for under £150m. Yeah but as soon as you pay him you’ve raised the wage bill then the gloves are off - everyone angles for more. This is fine if this is the decided route and I’ll be all for it but as the wages creep up and eats into PSR even more people can’t complain next windows when we don’t spend. If he wants this then there’s a massive decision to be made and I’m personally just wishing we had proper people and experts in place to deal with this.
