As for Isak he has shown that he is more of a mercenary and less of a servant. If he truly cared about the club and the fans he wouldn't act this way.

I’ve not been following comments today, just the headlines, so apologies if this has already been disproven.

 

It is all very precisely worded about exploring options. My feeling is that he wants a new contract and this is him/his agent trying to hurry that along. It makes no sense that they have waited until Arsenal and Liverpool have spent a fortune on their frontlines, I guess there’s obviously a confidence Liverpool could sell a few and fund it quite easily but still. I know the noise is that we plan to dig our heels in but if he wants to leave I don’t see the point, he will be lambasted for everything he does wrong and he is already often accused of being a bit lazy (personally I think he’s a bit languid but also been told to manage himself due to injuries of himself and Wilson).

 

I know we have a long standing interest in Sesko so if there’s any chance of him plus Wissa, a CB, Trafford/another keeper and probably a midfielder, and by August 31st, that’s actually quite exciting. Seems unlikely though.

 

Also, heard Staveley might be coming back in some capacity.

I think he could stay almost by default.  I don’t think the deal to Liverpool is straight forward, they may come up with numbers and proposals but sales seem like they have to happen - which don’t seem close.  Plus they need a CB.  I can see a world where he trains with his team mates and is in and around the squad in August.  End of the window who knows
