So not only do the rules corner us into selling him, they corner us into selling only to direct rivals. Really good. Really fair. The club must explain itself. Get all the live and let live comments, won us a trophy, players come and go such is the nature of it etc etc but it matters how they leave. (Ask Trent). This could have been done on the quiet with respect to the club and fans but moreso to Eddie, who has pretty much made him. Whether it was his agent, mother, next door neighbour or whoever has made the move statement, there was absolutely nee fucking need for it. Could have all been done in the background instead of stirring it up like this. My feelings might change but at 7.53 in the morning I'm at he's a massive massive cunt. If he turns up at St James come August in a Liverpool shirt he'll be getting dogs abuse from me. What a cunt. Record breaking PL fee done on the quiet? In this day and age. Nonsense. That would be way worse.

NUFC_Chris
The media have been obsessed with getting Isak out of Newcastle for months. When it looked like we might be about to sign Ekiteke it went into overdrive. There was no way the cartel clubs and their friends in the national media were going to allow it. Liverpool have lit a fire under us and engineered this whole situation. it now looks like we’ll lose Isak as his head has been spun, but by god if we’re selling him, it should be to anyone but Liverpool the rancid turds. 1964
Is there any recognition that in a PSR world if he really wants to win stuff, he's not getting that here for the foreseeable? We all know that 20 years ago he'd be signing up for life, because we'd be paying top rate and signing top rate players with him, but that's not now. Liverpool already had the cards and PSR have given them the bank. Their gloating is what is pissing me off more, like fat tories walking into an estate agent, buying everyone's dream home, laughing at them and making out like they're real estate geniuses. Football’s been doing everything in its power to make itself anti-competitive and geared towards a select few who already had an enormous existing advantage to begin with. If people want to watch a corrupt, pantomime version of football where everyone knows that what happens on the pitch is now more important than what happens on it then fair enough, but it’s not for me

Been sick of the PL's bullshit for years now. Now I've seen us win something I feel like there's nowt left to conquer. Realistically the PL is out of reach until the rules change, maybe the FA Cup, but that's nowhere near what it was considered 20-30 years ago. Just not sure what the point is in watching something that's designed specifically to help the same 2 or 3 teams get stronger year on year.

Crystal Palace Ourselves Terrible Tottenham team has all won something in the last 6 months. It is still very much competitive. Just that the budgets aren't.
