I'm not convinced Liverpool want him for the going rate. Without signing Ekitike, possibly. But it's an absolute fortune to spend in one window on two similar players.

Maybe wishful thinking but I think the only way they get him this summer is if we cave in and drop the asking price a fair amount.

They need two strikers. We wanted both. Why wouldn’t they?

If he goes to Saudi he will eventually end up at Barca in some agreement that they can afford I reckon.

Anyone's guess I suppose, Bayern must be looking at replacing Kane etc

I just hope he fucks off abroad

If that’s really a factor, someone might want to remind him his “dream move” is to a city where the crime stats aren’t exactly soothing either…

Maybe that's why he's possibly willing to go to Saudi?

Really hope we just stop playing games and buy him and loan him back. Fuck the EPL.

Imagine the uproar  a few years ago I’d have hated this. Now I want nothing more

Not so smart sabotaging their investment in the Pl.

It’s kinda smart. If he’s adamant he’s going? They keep him as a ‘Saudi asset’ and keep him away from our rivals.

Doesn’t really matter tho he’s not going to Saudi

And we don't even get to use the money even if he does.

We do. We’ll just get a fine. Btw where does this theory come from? We sold Maxi to help with PSR

It seems unthinkable, but there have been reports that he would consider it.

If he goes there its because he will be using it as a back door to getting the move that he really wants...to the dippers & co.

6 months to a year in Saudi, making a fortune, then kicking up a fuss and demanding to leave. Liverpool/Arsenal/Chelsea then pick him up for a pittance.

They are giving our rivals money for fun, so its a strange time to care about them. But agree he wont go there.

That's quite the risk on his part though isn't it? Unless there is a release clause, what if his Saudi club decide they don't want him to leave? Unlike us they can absolutely afford to pay him £600k/week to train with the kids at the academy.

The same way Henderson got out of his contract.

It's really stupid. If you want to ramp up the fee so another team can't get them you do it so it's out of grasp, not £10m above their reported offer and if you want to do it so they'll meet a valuation you don't bid £20m below Newcastle's valuation.

If these fuckers sell him to Liverpool it's all over like. I can see it as well.

I pretty much always support players getting paid and the decisions that come with it, but if he gives up Premier League and Champions League football in the prime of his career then all respect is gone. And he'd be villain #1 if he was then at Liverpool or Chelsea 12 months later.
