But Chelsea to Clearlake is like NUFC to PIF, a small part of its overall investments It sounds like you are saying they are prioritising Chelsea.

Nope, it isn’t even close to comparable. Their initial £4.25bn investment in Chelsea is about 7% of Clearlake’s total pool. They are actively managing it - hence Boehly and Egbahli’s almost daily involvement.

PIF’s initial investment in NUFC was £300m of £688bn. Which is 0.04% of their total assets.

So if Chelsea go tits up, it’s a material part of Clearlake’s overall portfolio and therefore more important to PIF who have a bigger financial commitment than in us. If NUFC go tits up, it’s not even a rounding error. The only noise it will make is media and reputational, not financial.

Financially you're right but optically we're worth a lot more to them than 0.04% and any reputational damage is a strong reflection on their business dealings.

I agree but you’ve seen the absence of interest the media have in any unfairness to NUFC. They’ll hardly be championing our cause.

And how much of that is PIF's ? And which gives Saudi more publicity their ownership of NUFC or Clearlakes investment in Chelsea as this is about more than just finanace ?

Do you think PIF are prioritising Chelsea over NUFC ?

I don’t think they’re particularly prioritising either - the priority is the WC 2034 and building their non-entity of a league and the shiny new vanity project stadiums. However, what I will say is that they have continually found ways to bail Chelsea out of the shit for their profligate spending.

The Maxi deal when compared to the dross they have bought for inflated prices from Chelsea is still something that rankles. Felix the latest.

I think the next 6 months are pretty critical for a lot of fans’ opinions of them. No stadium or training ground and I’d say they are happy to accept us as best of the rest, selling to those above and turning a paper breakeven. Not really YAR’s bold claims. Hoping I’m wrong.

Have a feeling it's more about us finding a replacement first.

No way we are going to let Isak go before we have.

Which I thought, because nothing else made sense, must be the reason for the Ekitike bid. If that was the case, and add to it the supposed refusal from Isak to go to Saudi (which must have predated the media coverage of it), perhaps the recent bombshell that he wants away wasn’t as much a surprise to the club as it was to us.

Liverpool seems to have tried to help us by asking for Isak first and not bidding on Ettike.

We probably should have not gone against them as this is what happens when you mess we ith truly great legacy teams.

They possibly received a flat no from us re Isak so went for t’other. Then Isak has, again possibly, chucked the dummy.

In the politest way possible. Please fuck off back to RAWK.

We have quality posters from other clubs on here. We even have a superb resident Liverpool fan who adds something to the place.

WTF are you even adding other than trying to antagonise the fans when you know we’re all fucked off as it is.

no antagony other than yours.

firmly believe Howe is at the point he believes he is better re investing in the squad at this stage & there is no way they are bidding on replacements without knowing there is a bid imminent and the ball park feee

They will the Saudis won't be fucked about, it will be £150 plus or he's going nowhere

We've been saying this kind of stuff about them for the last two years with regards to them taking on the PL rules etc and they haven't done shit. No idea where your confidence comes from that they will stand firm on a £150m minimum price. They also gave ASM away. All the indications so far point to them being all talk, no action and meek as fuck when it comes to dealing with this particular issue.

Firmly believe nobody on here really gives a fuck what a Liverpool fan thinks. Who has signed up purely to repeat himself in the Isak thread and half masquerade as an NUFC fan in the process.

Stop engaging with him. It’s all set up for him gloating when Isak goes and posting it back to rawk. Fuck him
