Eddie Howe is known to be an admirer, and when Sesko inevitably choses Manure, we will probably sign him on a free out of desperation

Be like Paul Kitson replacing Andy Cole all over again

All the noise is from Romano and linked X accounts clearly driven on the agent side. Plus Liverpools clear interest. No one seems to know what we’re actually going to do here.  Interesting at least to see what the response will be, it’s going to tell us a lot about the wider ambition

if he stays and his thigh clears up for Liverpool, do you think halfway through Gimme a striker from Sweden then launching into Money Money Money might show our generous humour and how we'd like him to stay

Tweet reads like we’re some competition winner and they are just trying to be nice. Fuck clean off.

We should happily completely derail his prime as a lesson. Like, capitulation here sets a precedent.

£150m, upfront.

£20m in easily achievable add-ons.

More than that if they want it done quickly.

Also should be linked to us completing Sesko.

I'd rather a moody Isak than Wissa and Osula.

My main concern is how it effects the squad, one of our biggest strengths has been team spirit him staying wouldn't help it.

Don't think I could celebrate his goals as much if the prick is essentially reluctantly playing for us and almost sole purpose to engineer a move in Jan or next summer.

The entitlement of Liverpool in this situation is just gross. I'd rather keep Isak for another 12 months, just to spite them, even if meant his value drops to £70-80m (which I doubt would happen) and sell him on to Barca or Bayern

I will be incredibly disappointed if we give in to what's happened this month. First of all, we don't know how to spend money so the money is irrelevant. Second, it's going to happen again. And again.

It's time to Cask of Amontillado Alexander Isak.

the happening again thing is the real worry.

i have no idea how we’ll play this, but protecting ourselves in the future is key.

we’ll be back here next summer with tonali if he has another good season.

Dear Ricky,

You can go ahead and suck my dick.

Kind regards,

Draw a cock on it as well.

Keep Isak, and then unfurl a tifo that's just The Reply of Zaporozhian Cossacks with Eddie and Tindall at the table.

I couldn't give a fuck what happens to Isak or his career or his mood of his opinion of the club. He's dead to me. I'm worried about exactly that. Tonali is our best player. (Was before Isak fucked off, tbh) This is going to happen again.

The thing I’d  be telling Isak is they’ve spent  £200 mil already this summer, including 80mil on a striker, not counting the bumper contracts they gave Van Dijk and Salah. If they really wanted him they could have used that money on him, if they really wanted him.

They signed him the monday after the league cup, tbh. All of those signings were used as a contrast to our own dog shit business.
