My suspicion is that it will remain quiet until the squad return from the far east, more speculation will ensue and more heat will be turned up by the media, and we'll reiterate he's not for sale. It'll then go cold until the next window and it'll all start again before him eventually being sold next summer and us having 2 or 3 signings lined up for next summer.

If Isak didn't want any of this, he could come out and say, so that suggests to me he's keen to see how much and who wants him. I think his only saving grace long term is if he sacks off his agent and says he took some bad advice then bangs the goals in.

Not sure where else he'd get a display like that last season. Howe has helped get the very best out of him, as has everyone at the club, his team mates should also be disappointed by the way in which he's dealt with it (again assuming it's all true).

I'm more disappointed than angry at this stage, and also more suspicious than outright against him. You cannot trust the media and agents as far as you can spit and the snidecunt 6 don't even get me started on them cunts and their Yankee investors.

Football, year on year, slips away from the working man and the beautiful game. To some degree our ownership is part of that - or should be - but instead we're not allowed to.

Honestly, we should have a real siege mentality by now, if not by now by Saturday 16th August.

Probably say it’s more his agent dictating things. If Isak wants to explore options, this will be all under the instruction of his agent I.e stay quiet.

If the option ends up being he’s staying here, his agent then will be telling him to do some PR and say his love for the club, injury etc. It’s all politician shit.

If he’s on his own injury regime, going to Sweden to continue it would make sense.

It’s still dumb, but wouldn’t = going awol.

He’s not injured

So we’re allowing him to sit around at home do nothing? Even Wissa is training on his own when kicking off and wanting out.

He’ll be doing some training stuff and we will be overseeing it as it’s still our asset. If the guy wants to move to Liverpool, sitting around doing nothing won’t help his cause as he will be way off the fitness.

I’m not saying he’s not training I’m just saying I’m not buying the injury story one little bit

Ben reads this forum

Guys a full on Qatari shill.

He did their bidding for them during our takeover saga, even Man City fans don’t have a nice thing to say about him.

He’s landed upwards since our takeover, it’s literally thrusted him into the limelight, all because our media are stupid to think that Qatar=Saudi Arabia once the Saudi clubs had money to spend.

It’s all just strategy. The longer it goes on the more unsettled Isak gets. Also if we buy a striker then they’ll probably try bidding a bit less. They also must be aware if we don’t have a striker it’s going to be a flat out rejection. They’ve got the bulk of their transfers in there’s absolutely no need to rush for them

They are just waiting for us to get our replacement in, whoever that may be. As soon as that happens the bid will be in. I don't expect these events to happen until right near the end of the window though. It's going to be a standoff till then, meaning the supporters all go through the mixer for another 4 weeks.

I just hate that the club aren't taking ownership over the narrative.

Almost feels like we're waiting for Liverpool to bid, or for Alex to realize he's wrong and come home.

They could kill the whole thing stone dead with one statement. It's a glaring omission that tells it's own story. Isak is 100% available to buy if certain conditions are met.

Won't be any supporters left by then judging by this place

He’s a walking jizz stain who has no way back in normal UK media because he stitched swearing into one of the news broadcasts on the BBC. Hence lurking around TalkSport and cunty YouTube videos like LoadedMag.

I was just about to post and say there hasn’t been the relentless updates and hysteria around Isak today and then that fuckwit ben Jacobs goes on talksport to talk about a house being up for rent.
