Refusing to go Asia to play for the club and spend time with his team mates and manager, absolutely fine to go train at his last clubs facilities

And people still want this guy around?

Could you have imagined the even bigger circus if he was training here? Press outside the training ground every day...

I think most people want him to fuck off but on our terms.

Absolutely destroyed his legacy here.

Should've gone to Asia then?

Yeah I think it's best for the teams preparation that he's not there with them as it would be an absolute media circus and disrupting the club as a whole. Still not happy with the way he's chosen to deal with this, he could have expressed his intentions privately but continued to act professionally.

I'm really ambivalent about this, because he's probably one of, if not the best player in the world in his position and a generational talent, we grew up with Shearer and he could have been this generations Shearer and so letting him go feels like losing a level of talent we may not see again for a generation, he can never truly be replaced and will be a huge miss. Having said that, no one person is ever bigger than the club and what it means to its fans and wider community and we shouldn't be held to ransom by him.

I would like to hope that there is a way back, that he could play for us next season and possibly beyond, he has the potential to be the catalyst for big things and losing him will set us back, there's no doubting that. But if we are to be resigned to losing him it absolutely cannot be to another team in this league, the ramifications of that to the wider footballing world and our image on the world stage is irreparable and allowing Liverpool to win this battle with their underhanded tactics sends a message that cannot be recalled.

We absolutely have to keep him until next summer, no matter what and then open the floor to the big European teams to have at it and extract the full value of his worth, even if that means begrudgingly giving him the contract that he wants for one season, break the bank, we will recoup it in the long run and he's not going to go awol in a WC season.

What a shit show. Eddie Howe is going to have to pull off a masterclass in man management to reintegrate Isak back into the squad.

My concern would be that Isak will pick up a few more mysterious muscle strains this season if he's completely checked-out mentally.

Imagine being miserable and going on strike because you're earning only 120k a week. These footballers have completely lost touch with reality, makes me fall out of love with this game tbh

Eddie doesn’t have to do much to get Isak back into side, we’ve got likes of Bruno, Burn, Trippier, Tonali, Joelinton etc. who will all make it known what the expectations will be for Isak to come back and effort required.

It’s also in Isak own interests to play well if he was to come back, as a poor season from him and the move to likes of Liverpool won’t be there. Etitike does well, why would Liverpool want a £100m+ back up?

It’s been a shitshow, but believe it’s all agent driven and Isak has the wrong voices around him. If Etikike hadn’t moved to Liverpool, don’t think we’d be seeing this desperate play from the agent.

Why are you willing to give the player a free pass and blame the person the player has hired to represent him?

I do not understand this at all.

He’s in Spain apparently.

Of course he’s nowhere near Newcastle after the stunt him and his agent have pulled. Daft rat knows he’d get drop-kicked into the Tyne the second someone spotted him.

Some people discover their wife has been doing the nasty with her gym instructor for months and solely blame the gym instructor for instigating it, because their lovely innocent wife couldn’t possibly be responsible for such devious behaviour

You have been talking about cheating partners/wives quite a bit lately... do you have something to tell us! We won't judge of course.

Because he wouldn’t be the first nor last player who’s controlled by the agent. Yea Isak may want to move to Liverpool, but how he’s been instructed in his actions will be agent driven as the recommended course of action.

No different to people in other walks of life who listen to their media / PR people for how they approach things. You go with them and don’t think twice.

Club could hate Isak agent and can distinguish between them both. So bringing Isak onside wouldn’t be a problem for them, whilst the suits upstairs have to deal with Isak agent over course of season as the move is sorted out for 2026.

Bro seriously

And I blame those people as well. You don't get a free pass on your actions because you were told to do something particularly when your a millionaire.

If the club choose to be absolute mugs that's up to them and anyone is welcome to join them but actions speak louder than words and no agent is holding a gun to his head.

This guy has apparently acted like a complete cunt and let his players down, but I’m not one who believe that bridges should be totally burned over this. If the players can come around to accepting him back, then I can, especially if that means that we refused to let Liverpool cajole us into being a feeder club. Once again, these cunts bought our top target while waving their dick in our face and are likely unsettling our player to get him to force a move. Once again, the response should be to go after Guehi hard, and force them to buy the fucker for a price that they clearly don’t want to. If they don’t, then we may have gotten a good CB if Parish isn’t just working for them.

No agent can force you to act like an entitled, ungrateful tit. That’s on him.

Let’s just say I would advise you all to make sure your wives and girlfriends don’t start going to the Bums & Tums class at Concordia leisure centre in Cramlington

A scenario where he's been forced into these actions isn't plausible, he's an adult who's a millionaire. If he wants to leave it's fine but doing so in this way is unacceptable. He's trying to create a scenario whereby we LOSE and for that's it's fuck him.

You'd think the rest of the players will see there own pockets boosted with bonuses and more chance of a successful season if they have Isak up front.
