I’m in a massive minority who blame the club much more than the player. I wouldn’t blame any of our top end players for wanting to join a club who actually seem to have ambitions.

I am totally with you whe. It comes to be frustrated as hell, but let’s have some perspective over the last few years. We’re certainly at a crossroads and have been since last summer, but still…

He signed a contract, we gave him a massive platform and he treats us like this

Perhaps we broke a lot of promises to him? Nobody really knows.

we’ve been a complete shitshow behind the scenes, our transfer strategy has been horrific. Remember Bruno saying how important it was to bring players in?

I've massively critical of the club this summer and I think they've deserved it tbh. They've massively underperformed and let the players, Howe and the fans down by not backing up the achievements on the pitch, they've also been shocking in the market over the last 2 months.

That said I can't condone Isak's behaviour or blame it on anyone other than him himself. He's clearly frustrated but he's supposed to be a professional footballer and he's getting paid millions of pounds a year as it is. He's engineered this situation and I get he's fucked off at how things are going but just behave professionally and do things the decent way. He's been sly as fuck and is trying to strongarm things when he's in no position to. He gets loads of shit? Fair play, it's deserved

Weve all been seeing the red flags and ignoring them, because it's better than what was before. The players weren't here for before, they've bought into this club aiming to be no1. I've not seen a thing to suggest that's the case. No training centre. No youth academy. No progress on ground. No boardroom. No communication. No spending for several windows.

They've got lucky in Howe, who theyve let down massively time again.

Enough is enough. Stop preparing, thinking, discussing, consideration, weighing up and proposing. Fucking act. Act now before isak is the 1st of many who gets sick of waiting around. Players careers are short. They aren't obliged to hang around like fans.

I don’t mind him getting shit tbh, but if he stays I’ll still be cheering him. We’re absolutely fucked without him.

I honestly don't think it's this deep. Get the CEO and a SD apportionments right, have a relatively decent campaign and all will be good with the world again.

As football fans, we're incredibly reactive.

This is where we differ

If he walked past me in the street tomorrow I wouldn't break stride or even turn my head. I still want him to score goals for my team but he's now dead to me tbh. The bubble has burst and he's now just another bloke in black and white and always will be from here on in

There is some truth here, certainly to the last point. I remember Liverpool’s fans were livid about their transfer window last summer and then they win the league at a canter and blast off in this window. Ultimately, I’m siding more with Dokko and Gol about the current state of affairs though. We need to see some major signals of intent before the end of the window and off the pitch

I hope that's taken down asap. Embarrassing as fuck no matter what we think of him. Stupid dicks.

And no doubt will be picked up and used by those wanting to criticise us

I haven't been keeping too up to date with this.

But what has actually happened and purely facts?  Has he actually gone on strike or not?

We don’t know really.

He wants away no doubt, but strike etc I doubt personally.

Aye, I’m with you. I’ve got a lot of tolerance for all sorts of things in life but lack of loyalty and disrespect in this shape and form is so black and white for me. I said it earlier that I couldn’t back him again, most said they would but I’ll be cheering his impact for the team and there’ll be absolutely nowt for him

Get the CEO appointment right and that should follow.

We're a rudderless ship at the moment, but things aren't THAT bad.

Isak feigned injury

Isak didn't go to the far east

Isak went to Sociedad to train

Those are the facts to my mind.

The rest is all conjecture and drawn out story telling to placate the media/Scousers it seems.

Seeing that banner plastered all over social media is just really sad. Really sad that it’s come to this. Just a few months ago this guy gave me one of the best moments of my footballing life with the coldest celebration and now I can barely watch the footage.

If he goes to Liverpool then fuck him and his career. If he sticks around and maybe goes abroad he’ll possible gain my respect back but ultimately he doesn’t give a fuck about my respect or what we think. As I said, really sad

He was always that for me, that’s the difference.

bruno, Tonali and Barnes (personal level) are the only ones I care about fully
