This is turning out to be an absolute shitshow from both parties. his and his agent's behavior is totally unacceptable and unprofessional at this point, and i'm happy for us to take the petty approach and not back down. but also it seems clear that he's been wanting to leave from the end of last season, why did we not right away signed a striker to secure ourselves furthes? since it seems like he had no intention to play a single game for us this season and we are about the enter the first game of the season with fucking Gordon upfront or if he's not fit or Osula who dosn't seem good enough.

That's the thing with contracts Sam. If his value went down would his pay ? Most players in the league wont have the value they were signed for, some up, some down. Guess what, until their contract is renewed they abide by the terms they signed. Isak doesn't seem to think so, thats why hes the bad guy.

Didn't say it was smart reasoning from his part and he is not a cunt for acting as he does, but I do believe that is what is happening. Club have known he wanted to leave for a good amount of time but refuses to sell unless for 150-200M which he knows noone will bid for him.

 

Doesn't make him not a cunt though, but most people here seem to think he suddenly announced he wanted to leave to the club a few weeks ago which I don't believe to be true.

Apparently it's up to us to actively sell hiim to Liverpool, presumably at a price of their choosing, and then we pay Isak a 'loyalty' fee out of whatever we get.

 

Honestly they can both get fucked.

I will tell you why, doing that means he and his agent give up all the money owed to them to move on, The reason why they haven't is they want the money from us and the move to Liverpool plus money, his agent has pushed most of this, seeing his golden goose moment.
