Feels like a second low ball bid is incoming.

It will definitely be coming,I don't think any of us should doubt that.
The million dollar question is how we respond.

They are clearly leaving it as late as possible to pressure us. It's so obvious but I hope that it's giving us the time to consider everything and be ready for it.

We won't get 150m i doubt, be closer to 130 or we keep a player who is going to cause chaos

130 will sting after Carlos Baleba goes to the Mancs for 112 and Wirtz cost 117. There are any number of midfielders. Strikers are rare as hen's teeth.

Then they won’t get the player. Once September 1st rolls by he’ll reintegrate himself and put him self in the shop window for next year when we will

let him go.

I only learned today his agent is allegedly banned from several clubs (Ajax, PSV, AIK) and allegedly has questionable ties to Abramovich from back in the day.

He certainly seems like Mino Raiola minus any semblance of tact. I think it's nice to see most fans appreciate we're holding firm on a price and refusing to be messed around. I think the wave of briefings are a direct consequence of Liverpool losing Sunday and now feeling impatient to get a deal done.

this probably explains why Liverpool put in that ridiculous offer last week. They were also misled by this cunt and thus really believed that 110m is enough.

A bit of a silly time to bid, IYAM. We haven't even signed a replacement for Wilson, let alone Isak. Unless we think a 4-4-2 with Osula and a big bag of cash money upfront will score us the goals to keep us in the top 5 this season.

Long live John Ruddy.

Playing right into their hands. Next plan of attack "Alexander Isak says he now FEARS returning to Newcastle after receiving disgusting threats." Happened with the Mackems and Didier NDong, btw.

Love people on FB. If you want news about Arsenal and Liverpool, I've noticed you should follow Africans. They always write that it's 100%, so it must be true.

"100% he will sign for Liverpool, for £100M before friday.".

"Let him go! This is starting to look like slave trade! Liverpool and the fans would never stop anyone from leaving the club. We didn't stand in Trent's way.".

"Let's go after other targets. We could easily buy Haaland, Yamal, Mbappe or prime R9 instead, as everyone dreams of Liverpool.".

"I know Newcastle promised him he could leave for £80M after the season. Newcastle are dishonest!".

I wouldn't sell to Liverpool for under £200m. Absolutely rinse them, or sell him in Jan to someone else, at a lower amount if need be. They're not the only club in the world that wants Isak.

If we don't hold the line, the dominos start to fall as other players and clubs know exactly what to do. And it's too late to get a replacement in anyway. We'd get a body in, but options are thin on the ground and it'd be a panic buy. At this point, we're waiting until Jan anyway.

Personally don't think £150m is our true price we're after. I may well be wrong before i get shot down but i feel like we've got a desirable asset we can price him that highly when in reality he will go for around £130m.

The £150m talk is all negotiation stunting.
