Weird thing is it looks like we’ve genuinely, looked to bring in a replacement for him which could facilitate him being allowed to leave. If the club were just flat out refusing to sell him, this situation becomes more understandable. But surely he has to recognise, the need for the club to get a good deal out of this as well. Which he seemingly doesn’t care about.

I hope reality comes a knocking on the 2nd for him. For the good of the game (if there’s any left ) we cannot be bullied and dictated to. He has to be here and face the music.
