If Liverpool don't bid again I'd be furious with them if I was Isak

The club have always maintained that any decision on Is*k has to be in the best  interests of the club. Assuming that means it’s likely to be an emotive, pragmatic one, I see a scenario whereby, if it facilitates the improvement of the squad (by necessity) then they’ll sell at whatever price they consider allows that.

I just hope they factor in the likely damage accepting a lowball figure might do in terms of precedent.

I know that but those two were aggressively clapping - I wasn’t the only one to notice! I don’t blame them either after what this twat has done.

Tbf we've probably dropped around 5pts because Isak has sat the start of the season out, the mood in the camp is rightly pissed at the damage he's potentially causing to our season.

Seeing our two biggest-hearted player’s reaction to the “Isak’s a cunt” song when they were clapping the away end after full time tells me there is 100% no way back for the rat.

(Bruno and Burn if you hadn’t guessed!)!

Absolute bollocks. If he is still here on September 2nd the mood in the fanbase will change. They still wont like him but unless he declares that he still wont play (which is 100% not happening) then the nasty chants will stop.

Can imagine the likes of Dan Burn are livid. Burn likely only has 2 seasons left playing at this level and it's being derailed by the petulance of Isak.

If they're not bidding more than £110-120m they clearly don't rate him as highly as we do. Should have appreciated where he was on the brink of becoming a club legend.

It's not that simple unfortunately. They might lowball us, but they can doube his wages, he could just say we don't value him as highly because we can't pay him that. If we could he'd sign tomorrow IMO.

What you can afford to pay/constraints allow you to pay doesn’t really have any relevance to the value. It’s like saying an estate agent can only value a house at a figure he could himself afford on mortgage payments. We can value the asset at whatever we want.

Or you could see it like this:

I bought a house and the value has risen, it’s not for sale but someone has approached me and made me a lowball offer and they’re saying they don't want to pay market value for it because my mortgage payments are based on the price I paid for the house before the value rose

But as it’s my house and it’s not for sale, they can get to fuck. I’ll decide what it’s worth, thank you very much

Or something like that

He’ll be gone so you won’t get to find out

Not unless Liverpool are going to up their bid significantly by at least £20m. Or we've bent over and took it up the jacksie.

You sure seem desperate for us to get bent over by Liverpool.

I don’t want someone who has took the piss out of our club, Eddie and his team, the players and most importantly our fans who are paying money to watch us whilat our best player is on strike and refusing to play.

Fuck the rat.

Liverpool arent gonna stump up what we want and no other team is interested, we have been left with 2 choices:

1. Despite the fanbase hating him and the manager/players no longer wanting to work with him, he stays and everyone has to work together to put aside the ugliness of the summer for the benefit of the club, fans included.

2. We cave in and take whatever the dippers offer just to get the stench out of the club. After selling our most valuable player at a cut price, we then overpay for his replacement.

Option 1 is nauseating. But it's the lesser of two evils.

That'll teach him - give him exactly what he wanted the whole time and reward Liverpool for encouraging it by giving them a discount.  Bet they'll feel like right twats.

Nor will there be any consequences whenever someone else covets one of our star players.

Nah think as an every-game fan he wants someone who has deliberately fucked the club in open public view to be spat out as soon as possible, personally.
