We've had a good window at the same time though, it's mental, all I keep thinking about is that expression "but apart from that, how was the play Mrs Lincoln?" and that the play was canny.

Two steps forward two steps back, Mike. We had finishing but no delivery, now we've got delivery and possibly no finishing. We haven't built on the momentum of the cup, we've got 60 games and two unproven forwards, we still can't break down a low block, we have no plan to remedy that. It's just going to be a fucking mess until we can spend the money next season, so best to just be casual until next season. Of course when we miss out on CL we'll lose even more momentum when we have to replace Tonali and god knows who else. We didn't even properly sign a fucking keeper.

problem is that everyone will bend us over knowing that we need a replacement  once we get the money for him

They’re going to try to regardless - but selling him at a discount on deadline day whilst all other strikers’ prices go up is just a ridiculous state of affairs.  Perhaps something is already lined up?  We’ll know a day from now.

At the end of the day if Howe thinks he should be sold at 130m and no other club out there is willing to bid higher, I think that’s a pretty good indication that it’s not a terrible deal.

If Isak goes and we don’t get another really good striker in it’s the beginning of a very rocky road which will quite possibly see us back in mid table with no Europe and the likes of Tonali wanting to get out. It’s absolutely a terrible deal firstly to let Liverpool and Isak win and secondly because as things stand we will be a much poorer team than last season.

We’ve been bullied by Isak and his agent.

Its fucking ridiculous to be honest.

If you take the Woltemade signing as the Isak replacement, which it clearly is, we've had all summer to get a Wilson replacement and failed which is ridiculous. Should've had that tied up as soon as the window opened.

You really have some dog shit expressions in sport. I find the term 'ramping up' so fucking annoying.

It’s not just sport, I’ve been getting inexplicably enraged every time I see ‘vibrant’ and now it’s when I see ‘flavourful’.

Fucking shit words

Why are you calling him, Mike? That’s your name.

He is but not ready yet - need a PL striker to play with him

Yep, that’s been the issue all summer.  We’ve dropped seven points already as a result as far as I’m concerned.

It's so irredeemably short sighted and stupid that it can only be true. We're going to think about tomorrow for at least 5 years.
