I think there is a fairly good chance this eventually ends in tears tbh. I really can’t see how Slot can play him and Ekitike and not piss one of them off in the long run. I’d say it does very little to address their issues but VAR will compensate for their defensive woes

We have been waiting to sell Isak only when we've signed two strikers. We've now sold Isak before getting the second striker. It's obvious we don't think we're going to be able to get one in.

He got 20+ goals last season, we may have sold him at the height of his value, I could be clutching at straws here but there's no guarantee he hits the same numbers this season with his injury record and his.patchy performances.
