Just highlights how integral Eddie was in playing to his strengths.  Where Slot hasn't a clue.

Completely agree, many said he wouldn’t fit the Liverpool setup. Everything we did as a team was about getting the ball to Isak in the right position. I’m not sure why they didn’t just have the confidence in the purchase of Ekitike. Lets face it, Isak was always going to snake us at some point, but what other team is setup to play around him and I’m sure he now realises this.

How many more months are they going to roll out the no pre season excuse. Surely a top tier player would be able to put this behind them quite quickly.

Really? They both went on strike. I guess Wissa did return to work eventually though.

You can't suddenly say it's Ok when we do the poaching

I think it's the fact you're calling Wissa a flop that's being questioned.

Well what has he done for us so far.

Less than Isak at Liverpool.

If THAT'S not a flop... 🤣

He was injured. To say flop is therefore ridiculous and the context is different between the two.

But back on topic, Isak remains an idiot and his failure is a daily delight.

When can you call a player a flop?

I wouldnt call either a flop yet, I'm still waiting for Isak to kick off.

Wissa had his first big injury, so we dont know if he will ever get back to the player he was at Brentford. Just knowing our Newcastle luck, he might be the next De Jong 😥

Is that the same bad luck that's seen us qualify for the Champions League twice in the last 3 years and win a trophy? That luck? 🤦‍♂️

I bet Isak’s confidence is low as fuck. How immense would it be for him to come to a hate filled cauldron in SJP at some point soon? He’d make Pardew and Owen’s abuse look like a warm reception. Shame we’ve already played the cunts.
