Atmosphere at SELA cup going to be so flat isn’t it. Like what’s to get excited about? Different when first game of season comes as it’s business time, but that friendly was suppose to be homecoming with multiple fresh faces, big excitement. Instead it’s Elanga, which is muted when Gordon is upfront and Targett at LB.

I’ve decided not to go, tbh.

Don't blame either of you, the club have been milking the fans relentlessly tbh.

No fucking about from Eddie. Deliberately arranges a huge gathering with all the players and their families for some team bonding but states Isak isn't included in that and he has to do some shuttle runs on his own for a few hours this afternoon.

Unsurprising really considering the deal with Liverpool is pretty much done.

Wat? You genuinely think we will sell him and start Osula?

I absolutley love Eddie Howe me. I know every fan is different in terms of emotional levels of attachment, but I rarely if ever try and get emotionally invested in footballers for the exact reasons Isak has shown. I know they're humans too and their careers are short but they don't half act like spoilt brats at the best of times. They're clearly not (and never have been) the heroes and Gods you thought they were when you were growing up watching them as a kid.

The only two I'd be genuinley gutted if we were to lose them would be Howe and Bruno. Bruno isn't as good as Isak or Tonali for example, but he's completley invested in us and he's really bought into everything at Newcastle.

Never ever get invested to a player as it only ends one way in football.

Either they leave by their choosing or the clubs.

As a kid I stopped putting players names on my shirt and went for Keegan... Only for him to leave us twice lol
