No use being tall if you don't use it to your advantage. A few times he didn't even contest a header

He’s already known to be weak in the air. Needs improvement but we shouldn’t be surprised he’s not winning headers.

disappointed for the kid he didn’t get that chip on the keeper away, it happens.

He’s still going to be ace when Bruno, ASM and Wilson are floating around him.. can’t wait.

We’ve been so unlucky with our injuries.

Bruno wasn't far away before Liverpool, and both he and ASM weren't far away before today. A week off should see them back in time to roast West Ham.

Wishing for Wilson might be too much, but he's got to be close as well, you would think.

Didn’t get in the game much, bar the chance he created for himself and the delicious pass through to Willock.

Again, he looked quick when he had the chance to open up. But didn’t get too many opportunities and we didn’t really give him any service.

Looking forward to seeing him with Bruno and ASM in the team. So unfortunate that we have injuries to our most creative players.

Hate the dink finish, but it happens.

Let's cut him a bit of slack. Those one-on-ones with the keeper aren't as easy as they look. The alternatives to the dink are a blast, or taking it round the keeper, which aren't always successful either.

If chipping it over the keeper is unwise, then Messi has been doing it wrong for all his career. If you have the skill to do it, then it's probably the best option of the three IMO.

He put himself about and again looks very technical, he’s not slow, but looked lethargic yesterday, I think Wednesday’s effort took it out of him. Frustrating attempt on goal, but he’ll learn from that. The lad is quality clearly.

Aye. Bruno regularly looks for through balls. Trippier to a degree when he is more advanced, as well. This lad looks like he needs that service in behind and he is plenty quick enough to take advantage of them.

Teams won’t be able to step out and try and stifle the midfield and the likes of ASM when we are at full strength.

Can’t fucking wait.

That one on one was great though, in that he made it all by himself. His long legs intercepted a pass and opened the opportunity up.

I can't remember the last time we pounced on a mistake and an individual had enough pace and legs to make the opportunity for themselves and finish it.
